Management of autism involves a program that is conducted by the erudite and trained teachers. A syllabus is designed for the autistic children. The traits of the autistic children are meticulously analyzed by the teachers.

The autistic children are taught to interact with others by effective communication. The autistic children are imparted the training to accustom them to the changing environment.

The autistic children can improve their capacity to remember certain things by adhering to certain practices.
The autistic children often maintain a planner where they mark the important days and their schedules. The autistic children are also imparted the basic principles by which they can get rid of their traits that do not allow them to adjust or fit in to normal mode of adaption.

The behavioral traits by virtue of which the children are able to adapt should be implemented in the house. The change in the behavioral pattern is also analyzed by the teacher to keep track of the behavioral change.

Management of Autism :

The autistic children should also learn to implement the behavioral traits in the schools, houses and society. The school and the house play a pivotal role in the implementation of the adaptive social skills by the autistic children.

A trainer should also monitor the basics of the language and the speech of the autistic children . The autistic children are imparted the basic skill sets to improve their speech by a specialized trainer.

The autistic children should interact with other children so that they can use their adaptive techniques for communication and socializing.

Some of the medicines are used in the treatment of autistic children. The medicines are not effective in the treatment of autism as compared to the therapeutic teaching. The medicines are used in cases when the autistic child tries to inflict damage to the self. Some of the sedatives and the anti-psychotics are used in the treatment of autistic children with mood swings, violent behavior etc.

The neuroleptics are administered by the doctors for the treatment of autistic children in a small dose. The neuroleptics should be given for a short period of time. The children often increase their body weight by taking the neuroleptic. The Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors(SSRI) are given to the children to alleviate the symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety etc.

The drugs are given in cases of emergency because of the adverse effects associated with them . The autistic children require empathy and proper training that help them to imbibe the behavioral techniques of adjustment to various circumstances.

Autistic children require the mental support from the family school and the society, by virtue of which, they can fend themselves like other children as they grow up.
